The House yesterday by a very narrow version passed the
budget bill. It is
now in the Senate and they did nothing to address it in their first meeting
this morning. Our guess is that means they didn't have the votes to pass
it.
The Senate will go back in this afternoon. If they pass the Budget bill
it
goes on to Gov Graves for his signature or veto. If they don't pass the bill,
it will go back to conference committee and start all over again.
Tax committees are working, but no sign of a tax bill yet.
