Conference committees which include Reps Rocky Nichols,
Melvin Neufeld and
Kenny Wilk and Senators Nick Jordan, Steve Morris and Jim Barone (who is
covering for Sen. Feliciano who's mother died) began meeting yesterday.
For the most part, they dealt with smaller budget issues yesterday, but did
not discuss SRS Regents or any substantial discussion of Aging, or K-12
schools.
Those should be the topics today and we'll hopefully have more to tell you
after tonight. We were there from 10 yesterday morning until 9 last night
with no guess as to what they will do with SRS.
