First, some sad news. Rep. Neufeld's son was killed in a work related
accident last night.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to him. I will get
addresses to send condolences.  Rep. Neufeld is a great advocate for our
cause and has been a good teacher to me.

More bad news. The legislature is now again looking at lowering protected
income levels, in addition to raising LOC scores.  We may need to make an "in
person, in your face" visit next week.  We're losing, and we need to voice
our concerns load and clear (not to be confused with KLEAR!)

We're working on lists of folks to call, visit and otherwise educate
concerning our programs. We'll be getting those out to you soon.  But for
now, a call to your legislator who has not given you their support yet, would
be most wise.  Please don't bug folks who are already on board, but we need
to make our concerns known.

We'll be in touch tomorrow, but start planning a trip to Topeka next week!
