The
House Freshman tax plan was defeated after an extensive debate this morning.
The vote was 41 to 83. We will have a list of how people voted tomorrow. Thanks
to all who put out an extraordinary effort on this bill, especially the Freshman
who introduced it.
We are not finished, however. They may attempt to add some components of
the plan into the Omnibus bill this afternoon.
Thanks again to all who made calls and got back to us. Your efforts may
not have been successful today, but we're in this for the long haul! They are
paying attention to us!
