The
House Appropriations committee passed an amendment to make the rates for PAS
services under the FE waiver the same as the rates for the PD Waiver. The
savings, according to an amendment by Rep. Landwehr would go back into the PD,
DD and FE waiver waiting lists.
On Tuesday at 9:00 a bi partisan coalition of Freshman Legislators will be
holding a news conference. We understand they have developed a tax
increase proposal. We are eager to see their proposal.
The House Appropriations and Senate Ways and Means Committees will be finishing
work over the next two days. In theory, they will have a budget proposal to run
through both Houses when Legislators return on Wednesday.
