Senate President Dave Kerr expressed "shock and awe" when he read the Governor's proposal. He indicated they would not support borrowing money. She intended to use bonds to pay for much of the add ons.

He says the Republicans will continue to work with the Gov. to find a compromise, but he fears her plan will cause them to have to stay in session longer.

The games continue!

In order to resolve the issue of Self Directed and non self directed getting different rates on the FE waiver, the House Appropriations committee recommended reducing the non self directed rate to the SRS rate. (If you don't know what that means, you're not a Home Health Agency or a CIL....not to worry)
