House
passed their budget bill a few moments ago. Many amendments offered. The
main amendments concerning SRS are:
1.
Move 12 FTE positions from SRS QE in MH to a Peer Review Process. Ted Powers tried this one three times before
he got it right!
2.
Dollars moved from Arts commission, Public Broadcasting et. All to MR/DD
Waiting list.
And Rep. Powers offered an amendment that KPERS will not do business with
France. It passed almost unanimously.
