Governor
Sebelius will be touring seven Kansas Towns to discuss the budget. As of
yesterday, the estimates are that there is a $105 million dollar deficit for
THIS YEAR. That means by June 30th we will be $105 million dollars short.
Estimates for next year are that we will be $125 million short of revenues.
ACTION:
We need folks at the town meetings who can articulate the need for additional
revenues for next year. She needs to hear that if we are to encourage her to propose
a revenue package. This is an important time to get out and tell her what
you think. As of today we know she will be at
